Our Commitment To Quality Began When ...

Our founder began his career performing custom home improvements and ultimately supervising developments while working for a local developer in the historic neighborhoods of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following relocation to southern California, his talents were quickly utilized by nationally acclaimed real estate investors and developers, subsequently followed by an award-winning local builder. In addition to supervising all aspects and trades of construction from foundation to finished homes; he specialized in custom carpentry on high-end custom homes, real estate investment properties, and historic home restorations. Particularly as a working superintendent, he has acquired the skill to foresee potential design conflicts while avoiding construction delays and keeping projects progressing toward completion. Finally, Hickory Heart became an independent San Diego Remodeling Contractor in 2022. Specifically, our attention to every detail, large or small, creates the highest level of finished product transforming a house into YOUR home!
