Services including structural framing, drywall, paint, finish carpentry. Our qualified subcontractors can help if electrical, plumbing, or other mechanicals need to be relocated. While many homes currently are being remodeled with more open floor plans and improved storage, sometimes personalization is needed later. Frequently older homes typically have more doors and partition walls which can greatly impact the walkability and functionality of closets and cabinets.
In this project (photo below) the clients wanted to replace dated 80’s counters and cabinets with a more accessible and walkable closet. Through removing several partition walls and installing a LVL beam to replace the bearing wall, we were able to gain them a large storage area. Thereafter we constructed new floating shelves, resulting in a modern look and increased storage. Approximately 3 feet of empty wall with lots of unnecessary framing between the two partition walls, in addition the existing cabinetry contributed to ineffective storage.
